Alfonso Dominguez

5ten studio is a design firm encompassing architecture, art, and furniture.

Alfonso Dominguez  has an architecture degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has used his architectural and hospitality background to create a signature international style for restaurants, and private residences throughout the Bay Area. His ventures in the hospitality sector include Tamarindo, a contemporary Mexican small plate restaurant and tequila bar, and La Calle, a taqueria focused on authentic Mexican street food. He also ventured into the mobile food sector by creating El TacoBike, the first legal Taco bike in Alameda County. Lastly, he co-owned Era, an art bar lounge. Over the last 15 years of designing and building his own businesses, he concurrently consulted and designed for Bay Area clients in both the hospitality industry and private sector.
